By now you’ve solved every rat problem, gotten every anvil recommendation, and proven that you were the best thief a multitude of times. The once fresh quest chains now seem a bit duller, but no longer. Breathe new life into Oblivion with these mods containing quest for guilds of new and old.
Tamriel Travelers 139c (by CorepcMMP): Become a travelling merchant or rob the newly added ones with this mod. This mod introduces a neutral faction on patrol in Cyrodiil, doing the rounds with their trusty custom-made Guar pets. Feeling a little psychopathic? Terrorize them for cheaper prices but you’ll risk the town guards being alerted, or perhaps you’d prefer to escort them as they sell their wares (which happen to be over 80% of the items in Oblivion). The choice is yours.
Vampire Hunting – Order of the Virtuous Blood (by David Brasher, Daniel Da Rosa, Nomadimp & Cleitaneous): Vampirism is spreading rampantly throughout the country-side of Cyrodiil, but the authorities don’t have time to deal with it, so vampire sightings have become more prevalent. Picking up at the end of the vanilla Order of the Virtuous Blood chain, this mod guides you through a series of 28 quests to stop a new vampire cult that has emerged that is threatening the Imperial City.
Knights of the White Stallion (by Marine Okeefe): Help Mazgo and the Knights of the White Stallion continue their battle against the Black Bow Bandits. New quests, dungeons, and equipment have been added, which focus on the conflict between the two factions. Find out why Count Leyawiin hates the Bandits so dearly and confront the Black Blow leader. After resolving the conflict you’ll gain access the Captain’s Hall and a special mount to call your own.
Servant of the Dawn (by Endrek): Disappointed that you couldn’t become the ultimate villain during the main quest chain of Oblivion? Using this quest chain you’ll find redemption from your goodly deeds by helping the Mythic Dawn and advancing through their ranks. This free add-on includes quest lines with multiple outcomes, new artifacts, and the ability to command a host of followers ranging from acolytes to dremora.
Abecean Pirates (by Cutlass): Become the pirate you’ve always wanted to be with the new Abecean “Cut-Throats” Pirates guild. Become your very own captain of a black pirate crew and wreak havoc upon the lands of Cyrodiil. This mod isn’t for those who haven’t developed their sea legs as it’s heavily themed on being a pirate. Arrrrrr!
