Crysis Mods To Cry For

The destroyed streets of the Big Apple won’t satisfy the mad cravings of Crysis fans. As we eagerly wait for DLC or the Crysis 2 Developer Tools to be released, we have found 3 mods that are coming soon. You can’t play them, but you can hype yourself up about when you actually can.

Stargate SG-27 by Whirlwind Games: Need more sci-fi? This mod will drop you right in the middle of an intergalactic war. Become a part of SG-27, an elite special ops unit who deal with off-world hostile locations. The developers have gone quiet but bug them here in hopes to get it released before Crysis 3.

Russia 2028 by Polycount: Taking place in “eternally nuked” Russia during the year of 2028, this mod will have you explore (and hopefully fight in) gorgeous outdoor environments. Unbelievable texture work and weapon models are few of the pieces we have seen so far. There is no release date for it as of yet.

Snatcher by Ash712: The classic cyberpunk adventure game will be brought back with this Crysis 2 mod. Assume the role of an amnesiac detective in the year 2047, trying to uncover the mystery behind robotics murdering humans and stealing their identities. Release date to be announced.

That Russia 2028 mod looks badass! They got some serious talent on their team! Russian game design students, concept artists, and even their own military advisor! haha

I’m not sure how the SG27 mod is coming out since pretty much most StarGate like mods have been shut down due to copyrights.

Always looking forward to good Crysis2 mods :)
