Greetings again file denizens. In our last episode we covered the dismantling of wait times and there was much feedback leveled at our subscription services. Â First and foremost, we’re listening. Many IGN “suits” are very interested in what you have to say, so let’s keep that conversation going.
This leads onto the LOVE portion of our FileBlog today. We’re unveiling as of this very moment all Founders’ Club & FilePlanet members recieve a 15% discount on all Direct2Drive games. No coupon necessary, just be logged in under your account and purchase any title for the discount. It also appears to work on some already discounted titles as well, as I got an additional 15% off King’s Bounty already marked down from 75%. So keep a sharp eye out for epic digital bargains.
Lastly, I wanted to address the FilePlanet ad issue many of you have mentioned. We’ve released some code that may have fixed the issue a small portion of our users were having. Please test your disable ads and give us feedback if it’s working. Remember, as a subscriber you should NEVER see ads!

I am a long time subscriber and purchase most of my games thru D2D. I leave my ads on because I like the, they are informative.

Thanks Ferret…and you too “suits”! 15% off CURRENT titles is way better than the hit points program that only had old titles. It’s very nice to see you give us what you promised quickly since there were some that were VERY impatient.
As far as the ads go, does this mean I shouldn’t get ads across the entire IGN network if I am a Founder’s Club Subscriber?
These are the worst times of a recession, after the fact, when people have run out of money and so many companies are still acting like nothing is wrong and treating their customers like dirt, good to see one company gets what going on, keep this up and you will have my money for a long time to come.
No problem! Founders’ Club members get complete removal of ads off FilePlanet, and removal of the most annoying ads on IGN. That’s the way it’s always been, but honestly I don’t usually notice any of the IGN ads anyway (the ones disabled are the wrost)

Second, <3 Fileplanet. I was very worried about what would happen when you took away wait times. I'm very happy with this, and I can't wait to see what else ya'll come up with.
