hah… Once you get the mods you can bet they are worth it. I have FCOM atm sure installing it is a pain but once you figure it out it’s not that hard at all. That and you end up forgetting how many times you had to reinstall Oblivion to get it to work since you didn’t follow instructions. (5-6 times for me!)
However, these race mods imo aren’t really worth it since all of a sudden you got these completely different alien looking characters in your game. (art wise)

Pretty cool, but there needs to be more integration of the actual races–like actual believable ones instead of a bunch of sexy women. I mean I like women (sexy or otherwise), however they don’t really belong in Oblivion–not in the sense that they’re objectified as sex symbols. Where are the males? I mean eye candy is eye candy, but the most of the males in Oblivion are downright hideous–especially the Nord-folk. Also someone should make a mod of Nordic face-tattoos, now that’d be sweet. I do have to say, however, that these mods are exceptional and do offer some unique and robust character models.

I really need to play thru this game again before Elder scrolls V: Skyrim comes out. Oblivion’s nearly 5 years old and still looks to be great fun, especially with all the various mods.
