Free Downloadable Soundtracks For Games

Since we’ve switched to WordPress, some of our popular FileBlogs have gotten left in the dust. The very idea of Ferret’s hard work being left to rot was unacceptable (to him), so now he has given me the task to resurrect once-fallen FileBlogs. As hardcore gamers, we love everything about games. What really stands out though are the soundtracks, even if you finish a game you can always listen to it’s soundtrack. Ever listen to World of Goo soundtrack while working? I have and it is great. So here is a compilation of two of our older FileBlogs based on video game soundtracks plus a few new ones.

Dawn of War 2 Soundtrack:

An incredible free soundtrack for Dawn of War II features work from Doyle W. Donehoo and Jason Ross with contributions by Noah Stacey and Noobie Noobinson. Including 20 ork-smashing tracks at 320kbps, you can download the full soundtrack here!

Bioshock Soundtrack:

Ok, yes. Beyond the Sea is unceremoniously removed from this collection of underwater masterpieces, but there is no question this is an impressive musical score by Garry Schyman. It’s available at no cost, so download the full soundtrack here!

The Witcher Soundtrack:

Composed by Adam Skorupa and Pawel Blaszczak the soundtrack for The Witcher is one that is both unique and powerful. With well over an hour of music behind it, it’s highly recommended that you download the full soundtrack here!

World of Goo Soundtrack:

Created with mostly computer instruments with a mixture of live performances this is quite a soundtrack for a game about blobs. This “official” soundtrack will cost you absolutely nothing, so download the full soundtrack here!

Deus Ex: Invisible War Soundtrack:

Released by Ion Storm this is the complete soundtrack for Deus Ex: Invisible war including 14 songs from composers Alexander Brandon and Todd Simmons with a sinister, spacey vibe to them. You can download the full soundtrack here!

Castle Crashers Soundtrack:

A surprisingly addictive and action packed indie RPG that has hit the consoles. If you haven’t tried it, get 3 of your friends and prepare to crash some castles. If you have tried it, you remember the incredibly satisfying soundtrack which you can download the soundtrack here!

MineCraft Soundtrack:

You know we couldn’t resist putting this up. An engrossing score that absorbs you into the 8-bit wonder known as MineCraft, don’t get too distracted though or you might be victim of a Creeper. You can download the MineCraft soundtrack here!

What about morrowind? I get desires to play the game when I hear one tone that sounds like the soundtrack.

  9. C418 says:

You know what I find pretty mean? Not that you upload the soundtrack to download freely for everyone. No, the fact that you don’t at least link to any of my websites as an exchange. That’s what I find pretty mean.

  10. And Wan says:

Yeah, I notice lots of older posts have disappeared. I remember the original soundtracks articles being 2 of them. And it also included:
Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix
    Chronicles of Riddick
    Lord of the Rings Online
    Tomb Raider
    Stalker
    Auto Assault
    Goldeneye 007

Nice new addition of Minecraft & Castle Crashers :)

Also, can you resurrect my old favourate blog posts such as:

    Fallout 3 – Mod Pack v2.0
    Top 5 Hottest Oblivion Companions
    Files of the Year
    Ferret Stole the Blog.
