Nothing makes us happier then when we get to relive the games of years past and Streets of Rage is no exception. For those of you that enjoyed mobbing down the streets of the corrupted city and taking out the baddies one 16-bit karate chop to the groin at a time, this may just be your second coming.

Die hard fans of the series can enjoy up to six playable characters as well as co-op and NPC allies to help you in the fight. It is unclear whether or not the super secret BAD END will make it into the remake, one can only hope.

This is version 4, which although fantastic is quite old. V5 is due out REALLY soon (I think) and will be completely redone with about 5 times the contents.

Doesn’t appear to work on vista 64bit, says MSVCR71.dll is missing.
Make sure to use the Vista/Windows 7 version. I had the same issue:
